This is my I've Learned Poem
I've learned that you need to feel pain before you feel love
I've learned that when you make friends to last forever you need
to be yourself otherwise it's just a big lie
I've learned that if you're having a bad day it doesn't give you
the right to take it out on anyone else
I've learned that if you want to find the meaning of life you have
to live it first
I've learned that sometimes we take friends for granted and don't
realize until it's too late and they're gone
I've learned that your family can be your best friend or worst
nightmare depending on how you treat them
I've learned that being who you are is better than pretending to
be someone else
I've learned that life is too short to be wasted being angry and
sad
I've learned that there are two sides to a story and you need to
hear both before you know the whole thing
I've learned that it's better to face your fears than to avoid
them
I've learned that if you look hard enough you will see beauty in
everything
I've learned that you loving yourself is something you have to do
before others can love you back
I've learned you have to trust to succeed
I've learned that it might be tempting to bite off more than you
can chew but it's easier in the end if you don't
I've learned that around the world there are many cool things but
you'll never find another place just like home
I've learned that telling people your feelings may be difficult
but it's a lot harder keeping them bottled up
I've learned that you think you might know yourself and your
limits but if you look farther, deeper, you will find that you can be so much
more
Knowing all this... I've learned
